I use the pen tool! Between sizes 1 and 4 (typically 2 or 4) and on a minimum size of 0%.

As for bodies, UM it’s hard to gif a sketching process because I make a LOT of strokes but here’s a good enough example I hope:

Sometimes more detail, sometimes less, but I always work around shapes.
