Hey tumblr I would love to ask you for a favor! My mom is trying to get her small business off the ground and she’s looking for some votes to be considered for a $250k grant! She’s very close to the votes she needs but the voting is over on the 30th so she needs them by then. Can you pitch in and vote for her?

Voting is really easy - you can just sign in with facebook! Then you search for DCB in California, and her company is the only result.

Like it says, she’s trying to do this all on her own without a loan from our family, who probably wouldn’t give her the money anyway ;’) but she’s a really motivated lady and I’m so impressed with her and how far she’s come. I feel like her company would be a positive force as she’s one of the most fantastically understanding and open people of her age group I have ever met.
