English is so awful with syntax one word has so many meaning all in how to pronounce it or the attitude you say it in leading to many awkward situations

Also yeah attitude carries through text, people don’t seem to believe this or forget

It’s largely dependent on the words you choose but your typing style can absolutely make a difference between something like joke and insult

Just because there’s no voice or body language doesn’t mean you can’t drop hints and cues un/intentionally
